Spring in New England went from 'I don't care what the calendar says, you can't make me...', to all at once.  Last week or so we suddenly got some warm weather (daytime high greater than 40F) and everything is deciding to race to the finish line.  Forsythia everywhere but this tree is still trying to decide.

hawkeye978 > Local graveyard after sunset.  This graveyard is the oldest in town and has markers as old as the early 1700's.

This is done about 30-45 minutes after sunset resulting in an 8 sec exposure.

hawkeye978 > Redondo Beach pier early this morning.  And, no, my camera does not have a 185,145x lens with gyroscopic stabilization and correction for the curvature of the earth.  Had to travel to LA yesterday and decided to go to Redondo Beach early to see what I could find.
hawkeye978 > This is an attempt at a HDR image.  Three separate exposures have been blended to stretch the range and bring out details.
